Fugent’s Scheduling Assistant is the only appointment booking tool with Glance integration, allowing you to combine the simplicity of Glance screen share with the effectiveness of digital scheduling.
After connecting your Glance account to Fugent, use the top navigation to select Scheduling Assistant and either ensure that your existing schedules have web meeting enabled as a meeting type or create a new schedule with web meeting enabled as a meeting type.
Once a client requests a meeting with you, you will have the ability to accept the meeting and confirm meeting instructions such as meeting provider and audio instructions prior to sending a calendar invite. Click on the email, text, or in application meeting request notification. Fugent will display an appointment request screen. Click on the “Accept and Confirm Details” button.
Ensure the Meeting Provider dropdown is set to “Glance Screen Share”. This option may be set to Glance by default if you do not have other meeting providers connected to your Fugent account.
Fugent automatically creates a randomly generated Glance key on your behalf when you start your Glance meeting in Fugent. When attendees join through Fugent, we automatically pass the key to your attendee making it easier to join. You can see the randomly generated key in the Glance app once you start your meeting. Screenshot below. If you are interested in restricting users, you may password protect your quick meeting using the Fugent password field.
Modify the other options as needed and click “Schedule and Send” invitations. You may find more information on Scheduling Assistant options within the Scheduling Assistant section
Start your confirmed web meeting from your Fugent dashboard or Meetings area of the application as you would a scheduled meeting.
