NOTE: Your company administrator must install the Fugent Salesforce managed package in order for you to sync contact data, contact activities and meetings to Salesforce.
If your Salesforce integration is managed by a company administrator, the settings mentioned in this article will not be accessible.
Salesforce - Meeting Sync:
After your organization has installed the managed package and you have connected your Fugent and Salesforce accounts, Fugent will automatically update your Salesforce calendar with new Fugent meetings and meeting revisions every five minutes. In addition, users will have the ability to sync 90 days’ worth of past meetings and 90 days’ worth of future meetings to the Salesforce calendar.
- The Fugent Meeting title will populate the Salesforce event subject field
- Meeting times received in UTC, converted to time zone selected within Salesforce account
- The location field will default to different items depending on the type of meeting scheduled:
- "Fugent web meeting" will display for all scheduled web meetings
- The saved "Venue Address" will display for all scheduled in-person meetings/events
- The saved "Telephone Number" will display for all scheduled phone meetings (Teleconference or Direct Dial)
Pictured Below, the Salesforce event details page will display the Direct Meeting Link that you can give to attendees to register and / or join the meeting. If the meeting is a web meeting, you will also have a Start Meeting link to initiate the web meeting without leaving Salesforce. You can click the name of the meeting under Fugent Meeting to get additional information such as registrants, attendees, invitees, etc.
Pictured Below, the Fugent Meeting details page will give basic information about the meeting such as whether registration was required, meeting type, and meeting status.
Select the, "Related" tab below to obtain more information on tags, invitees, registrants, requestors, attendees, etc.
Fugent Meeting Tags
If you have associated tags with your Fugent meeting, they will appear in the Fugent Meeting Tags section.
Fugent Meeting Registrants
If you required registration for your meeting, Salesforce will display all registrants and the date for which they registered on the Related page for the meeting under the "Fugent Meeting Registrants" widget. Fugent batches registrants and syncs every four hours to optimize the Salesforce integration. Therefore, you may see a delay in registrant information compared to Fugent reporting.
Additional registration form data for a contact can be found by clicking on the contact’s name and looking under the Fugent activities section for the completed registration.
Note, the sync schedule for Fugent contact activities is controlled by the export settings you or your administrator set within Fugent. Contact activities can be synced manually or can be setup to export daily, weekly, or monthly.
Fugent Meeting Requestor
If you are using the Fugent Scheduling Assistant to book appointments, contacts who have requested a meeting will display in the Fugent Meeting Requestor section. Additional information about the meeting request, such as notes the contact entered when requesting the meeting, can be found by clicking on the contact’s name and looking under the Fugent Activities section for the meeting request.
Note, the sync schedule for Fugent contact activities is controlled by the export settings you or your administrator set within Fugent. Contact activities can be synced manually or can be setup to export daily, weekly, or monthly.
Fugent Meeting Invitees
If you sent invitations for your meeting, the contacts will appear under the Fugent Meeting Invitees section with a summary of total invitees, a summary of invitations per contact, and performance information such as opens and clicks. Invitee information will appear automatically with the meeting information. Fugent batches the open and click information and syncs with Salesforce every four hours to optimize the integration. Therefore, you may see a delay in Salesforce reporting compared to Fugent reporting for invite performance. You may click on the contact name and look under Fugent activities to see the subject of emails for which the contact opened or clicked.

Fugent Meeting Attendees
If you have completed your web meeting or used the Fugent mobile check-in for in-person meetings, then you will see contacts listed under the Fugent Attendees section and a total attendees summary. If your meeting is a web meeting, you will also see join time, leave time, and duration. Fugent batches attendance information and syncs with Salesforce every 4 hours to optimize the integration. Therefore, you may see a delay in attendance information compared to your Fugent reports.
