When there is a submitted Meeting request, you will receive an email notification showing the information pictured below.
There will be a link presented:
"Click here to accept or decline appointment."
When selected, this will forward you to the Pending Requests page within your Scheduling Assistant pictured below.
After selecting the "Options" icon. You will see several action to choose from when Declining a meeting request. These options include:
Decline and Send Response:
Send a standard declination to the requestor.
Decline and Edit Response:
Send a customized declination to the requestor.
Decline and Suggest New Times:
Send a customized email to the requestor with the option to select up to five other dates/times of availability. This is the most common method of declination as it suggests another date/time to meet with the requestor.
Decline without Sending Response:
Decline meeting request with no response to the requestor.
