From your Fugent Dashboard, select the Menu dropdown and "Scheduling Assistant".
Select, "Create Schedule".
The next screen will allow you to customize your new schedule:
Refer to the bullet points below for each reference outlined in red.
A. Schedule Name & Description - Customizing the name and description of your schedule allows you to easily identify what the schedule is intended for if you have multiple schedules. This can be a unique name given to a:
- Group of Contacts
- Geographical Region
- Time Period Available
B. Display Schedule Name & Description on Calendar - By Selecting, "YES", the name and description chosen above will be displayed publicly on the schedule landing page.
C. What Types of Meetings Would you like Visitors to Request? - When requesting an appointment, there are three options available (In-Person, Web/Virtual Meeting, Phone Only) . Select all that apply for your usual appointments.
D. What Durations are Visitors Allowed to Choose? - Multiple meeting time durations are made available to the requestor. You are able to customize which are visible for all visitors. Calendar invitations sent to all parties will reflect the meeting length chosen here.
E. Do you want to create a Lead Time for Meeting Requests? - A lead time allows for a customizable buffer time between the current time and the next available time slot on your schedule. Choosing an appropriate lead time discourages last minute scheduling.
Example: If the current time is 9:15 AM. With a lead time of one hour chosen, My next available appointment would be 10:15 AM.
A wrap time allows for a buffer time from the meeting you just held prior to the next scheduled opening in your calendar schedule. Typically, wrap times are used for entering notes about the meeting you just had and/or prep for the next meeting.
G. Do you want to set a meeting location for in-person appointments? - If you want to set a standard meeting location for In Person meetings, you can enter the address information here.
H. Allow Booking - If you want to limit how long you are looking to allow the booking, you can select three options below.
This section defaults with a 90 day window of rolling availability. Requestors will not have access into your calendar past that 90th day. This option can be further customized with a shorter or longer number of days.
"Date Range" will only show availability between two dates.
Selecting, "Forever" will have no parameters around your future availability.
The next section will allow you to customize the available times/dates for each day of the week. (Pictured Below)
Select a date on the calendar to further customize each selected day available.
A. All times are associated with your selected default time zone when creating your account.
B. Select the "+ Add Time Interval" icon when adding multiple time blocks within each selected day.
C. 15,30, 60 Minute time blocks are available for each date chosen.
Select, "Apply", to save the updated information
I. Email Settings for Appointment Requests - The Email Settings section allows you to send automatic meeting reminders to the meeting requestors. These can be sent between an hour and a week in advance.
Depending on the permissions you are granted in your Fugent account, you will only have one email template available for these reminder emails.
Now select, "Save Settings" to save your new schedule.
