Not only can the host share their web browser, application, or a presentation, you can also pass this ability to attendees. This presentation will show you how to give your attendee the ability to share as well as how to instruct them.
The first step in allowing an attendee to share content, you must make them the Presenter. Click on the attendees name and click on the Make Presenter button.
Direct the attendee that is now the Presenter to click on the Share menu and select Share Content. This will allow your attendee to share any piece of software on their computer, including an open web browser.
Once they click on Share/Share Content the first option they have is to share a screen on their computer. They can also choose one of their open applications on their computer. This is the best way to share an application. Have the attendee select the running application. If the application is not running, they can click on Other Application and choose the application from their computer.
To open a new web browser to share, have the attendee select Web Browser, from the Share menu. After clicking on Web Browser, their browser will appear. Once they see this screen, they can begin web browsing. Now that the attendee is sharing the program, they can give you back control by clicking on the Assign button from the drop down menu at the top of the screen, then click on Pass Keyboard and Mouse Control and select your name. You will then double click your mouse to take control. Once complete, tell your attendee/presenter to double click their mouse to regain control.
To stop sharing your web browser or application, click on the Stop Sharing button from the drop down menu bar.
To have your attendee share a presentation from their computer, tell them to click on the Share menu and select Document from my computer. They will be able to browse for their presentation and open it.
To take back Presenter rights, as the host, click on your own name and click on the Make Presenter button.
