Have you ever been in a meeting and someone asked if they could have a copy of the presentation you are showing?
In the past you would have to make a note of it and hopefully remember to email it to them after the end of the meeting.
Well with the File Transfer feature, you can give your attendees the ability to download a file, any file, during the meeting.
From the File menu, select Transfer
After you click on the Transfer button, the File Transfer box opens.
Only you can see the File Transfer box at this point.
To browse to find the file, click on the Share File button.
Select the file then click on the Open button to make it available for your attendees.
** Your attendees do not see this screen either.
Once you click on the Open button your attendees screen will list the file you have set up to transfer. They have the ability to select the file and click on the Download button to download the file to their computer.
Once the attendee has downloaded the file the Status changes from
Not Saved to Available and they can close the window.
Ask your attendees to close the File Transfer box when they are done.
When you see the number at the bottom right of the box drop down to 1, you know everyone is done downloading and you can close the file transfer box.
